Business Development and Marketing Director appointed by Scania (Great Britain) Limited
Scania (Great Britain) Limited has appointed Arif Jafferji to the position of Business Development and Marketing Director, a newly-created role designed to both support the company's existing range of products and services and spearhead the development of new business initiatives for Scania in the UK.
Arif, 38, took up his appointment on 5 January 2012 and brings to Scania a wealth of commercial experience. He joins Scania from Barclays Bank plc where his responsibilities covered Marketing, Customer Experience and Planning, including leading work in understanding key customer needs and experience design. Prior to that he was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers as a consultant involved with a range of blue-chip companies on a wide variety of issues.
