Engines

Scania manufactures more than 60,000 engines each year. Besides being used in trucks and buses, they are also used in different industrial and marine applications.

Scania’s engines are used in an endless amount of applications all over the world. You can for example find a Scania engine in a container handler, a pilot boat, a snow groomer, a generating set for either stand-by or continuous power or a military vehicle.

The starting point is always Scania’s own engines which are adapted to customer demands. The one thing they have in common is the fact that their engine probably never will see the inside of a workshop. The focus is therefore put on reliable performance and best possible total economy.
