At Scania Sheffield we have invested more than £1.5m into our Commercial Vehicle Accident and Repair Centre to provide a highly sophisticated and specialised service that is truly second-to-none.

In addition to working directly for many of the area's leading fleets, we are also approved by every major insurance company.  Moreover, Scania Sheffield is one of only 18 UK accident and repair centres to be selected by Norwich Union for membership to its national Commercial Vehicle Repair Network.

The Centre's in-depth expertise is provided by its fully trained Technicians, who have unrivalled access to engineering specifications, technical material and new and, in many cases, recycled parts for every make of commercial vehicle.

Based within our 1.7-acre site in Don Road in the heart of the city, Scania Sheffield's Accident and Repair Centre is a state-of-the-art facility with 14-bays and a range of specialist equipment, including:

• Josam chassis and cab repair rig and equipment for all makes of truck and trailer
• Air-conditioning discharge and recharge unit
• Glass replacement, including bonded glass
• Its own recovery trailer     

In terms of paint spraying, there is a full-size paint booth 25 metres long and 17 metres high capable of accommodating every size of commercial vehicle, including mega trailers and double-deck buses.  This booth can be split to accommodate two tractor units at the same time, in different colours if required.  A second smaller booth is used for spraying cars, vans and loose panels.
