Type of Cover
The policy provides an indemnity up to the level of cover selected for the outstanding finance amount following payment by motor insurers of a total loss, plus a proportion of the initial financial deposit made on the vehicle where that vehicle is financed by Scania Finance Great Britain Ltd.

Significant Features and Benefits
Cover is subject to the comprehensive motor vehicle insurance policy insurers having accepted and settled claim on the basis of a total loss or constructive total loss.

Significant Exclusions and Limitations
Vehicles not insured for their full market value.
Any amount of excess under a comprehensive motor vehicle policy.
Any instalments that are in arrears.

Duration
From the inception date to the expiry of the policy after the 84 months policy period OR when you sell your vehicle, your finance agreement ends, we pay benefit under this policy or your comprehensive motor policy ends – whichever comes first.

Cancellation
You have the right to cancel the policy within 14 days of receiving your policy documentation and receive a full refund of premium. No refund of premium is available after the 14 day period. How to make a claim

On initial notification you will need to provide us with the name under which the policy is issued, vehicle registration number and policy number.

Complaints
We do everything we can to make sure that our customers get the high standard of service they expect. If we fall below these standards, or you are not happy with the service we give you, please write to our Customer Services Advisor who will make sure the problem is dealt with quickly. Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)
As Vabis Forsakrings AB is a non UK based insurer, Scania Gap Insurance does not fall under the compensatory arrangements provided by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
