Lucketts Travel chooses Scania OmniExpress

Lucketts Travel has once again purchased new Scania coaches, this time opting for two Scandinavian-built Scania OmniExpress vehicles. Based on Scania K340 EB4x2 chassis equipped with Scania 340 horsepower engines and ZF automatic transmissions, both vehicles feature the 12.8-metre long, 3.4-metre high Scania OmniExpress body variant.

These luxury touring coaches come as standard with 55 passenger seats with leather headrests, climate control, Blaupunkt professional line audio equipment, including an integrated DVD player and two monitors, powered main and second entrance, electric blinds and a dashboard-mounted fridge.  From the available choice of either centre or rear mounted washrooms, Lucketts Travel has specified centre sunken washrooms fitted with a servery top.

Another key element underpinning Luckett Travel's decision to once again opt for Scania is the full two-year repair and maintenance agreement which is now offered as standard with every Scania OmniExpress coach.  This agreement will be managed by Lucketts Travel's local Scania dealership, with all servicing carried out at times to fit in with the vehicles' planned operating schedules.

Lucketts Travel see these vehicles as complimenting its existing 48-strong Scania fleet and has purchased them for use on the company's general private hire operations.
