Mark Grant appointed Sales Director
Mark Grant, currently General Manager – Customer Operations for Scania (Great Britain) Limited, has been appointed to the role of Sales Director – Bus, Coach and Engines with effect from 15 September 2008.
In his new role Mark succeeds Geoff Bell, who has been appointed Regional Executive Director and Regional Sales Director for Scania (Great Britain) Limited's North East Region. "I am delighted to welcome Mark into our executive management team," comments Hans-Christer Holgersson, Managing Director of Scania (Great Britain) Limited. "It will be a huge benefit to the business that we have Mark’s strong product and technical knowledge, which together with his experience of packaging total products and services will help him in his new role as he continues to develop our Bus, Coach and Engines business.” Mark Grant has been with Scania (Great Britain) Limited for 15 years and has held the position of General Manager – Customer Operations for the last six years.

Tesco Goole
Scania (Great Britain) Limited has been appointed by Tesco to manage and operate the vehicle maintenance unit at its new Goole regional distribution centre. Transport at the centre is provided by Eddie Stobart Limited and Scania will be responsible for all servicing, repair and maintenance of the 50 Eddie Stobart tractor units and 75 Tesco trailers based there.
