Apprenticeship programme
As a Scania Apprentice you'll be employed at a Scania service point where you will work alongside qualified Technicians, learning from their experience and developing the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Throughout your apprenticeship you will be visited regularly by a Scania Training Assessor, whose task is to make sure that your training is effective, to help you complete your NVQ in the workplace, to check that your progress is satisfactory and that you are enjoying the work.
- You will also be eligible to enter the Scania Trucks Apprentice of the Year competition, which awards prizes and trophies to the highest achievers on the scheme, judged by overall performance.
- As a Scania Apprentice you will be employed full-time with recognised terms and conditions of employment.
- You will be entitled to paid holiday each year as well as the usual Bank Holidays.
- Overalls and safety shoes, safety boots will also be provided.
- Scania has a special staff purchase scheme for workshop tools offering special prices and rates. These purchases can also be funded by an interest free loan which can be repaid over 1 or more years. Terms and conditions apply to this offer. Please contact your local Scania dealer for details.
