To become a Scania apprentice you must have a genuine interest in things mechanical and meet an acceptable academic standard.

  • Our preference is a minimum of three GCSE's, Grade C or above, but experience with trucks will also help your application.
  • Whilst your traditional view of apprentices may be that they are recruited directly from school or college, opportunities exist for applicants outside this age range, so please feel free to apply even if you are not a school or college leaver.
  • Where new vacancies exist, applicants will be invited to take a standard entry test to assess their aptitude. This will enable us to choose the candidate(s) best suited to a place on the Scania Apprentice Programme.
