These inline 6-cylinder engines produce extremely efficient outputs due in part to a new generation of engine management and injection systems.
At 340, 380, 420 and 480 hp, each 12-litre variant produces loads of low-rev torque for enhanced performance in all conditions. In the latter two, Scania Turbocompounding extracts still more energy from exhaust gases. The result is more momentum at the flywheel, better driveability and optimal fuel economy.
